English 4a

Our work is designed to prepare you for post-secondary life, whether it be college, training, or the work force.  The course focuses on academic writing and on the reading, conversation, revision, editing, and proofreading that produces strong, clear, and interesting communication.
In each unit we will attempt to address the concept of Legacy: How do the stories we tell become us? What will be left behind when we, as individuals, are gone? Keep these questions in mind as we move through each book and assignment and address them in assignments and discussion.
